My mom and I love watching this show then talking to each other about the contestants...each time I watch I wonder to myself "would I stop at this point or would I just take one more risk???"
This show is all about doubt, risk and of course greed. How many times has the contestant actually gone as far as to lose everything because of pure greed or just plain stupidly BUT on the other hand sometimes the contestant caves in and takes the deal only to discover that if they had just opened one more case they may have doubled their money or taken home the big prize...what would you do if given the chance to make a Deal or No Deal????

Hi D! I'm such a wuss...I'd probably not push my luck any further! LOL! I would totally suck if I were on Deal or No Deal. I know this is different, but I've gambled in slot machines at casinos a few times for fun and have won buckets of coinage, and a few times, all because I felt lucky, I kept playing....and LOST all of my winnings! Most of the time, I walk away, happy with what I have :) I'm just not a gambler! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat would you do? :)
yup i agree Christine! I am not a gambler either- in Vegas I was sick because we lost a whopping $40 or so!!!(the whole weekend)
ReplyDeleteI would probably just stop at $100,000 and be happy! The other day this man kept playing and playing and ended up with $10...i kept thinking "what an idiot!!!"
I always think I would stop around 100,000..though I would be tempted to go a little more. If I could pay of our mortgage, I would bo so happy!!! It is coming to Canada. I wanted to apply to be on the show, but never got around to it :(
ReplyDeleteYeah, I got an e-mail from a friend and it was about "Do you want to be a contestant of Deal or No Deal?" My friend was so excited that it's coming to Canada. I dunno- I just deleted it! LOL! I never know anymore whether e-mails are for real or not!
ReplyDeleteyeah i attempted to do the application 3 times but could never finish it before i was beckoned by you-know-who!!! i guess it wasn't meant to be!!
ReplyDeleteI applied to be a contestant on the Canadian version but I don't think my story is one that was enough to get any attention. The questions they asked were very personal.
ReplyDeleteIf I was playing I think I may go all the way as the way I think is that you can't do any worse than what you came in with. But its easy to say when your watching
