Most of the double strollers I see out and about (even in our area) are Graco, and people do seem to like them and they have 2 comfortable seats. I think the Graco Quattro looks nice, and has good reviews: http://www99.epinions.com/reviews/Graco_Quattro_Tour_Duo_Ionic_6K00INC3_Stroller.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of the ones you are looking at. I am for the single strollers (though I am not getting one either, just out of the budget), but I don't like the double seats. The one on the Phil and Ted looks stuck on behind and small, and the one on the valco (which I saw in person last week) is not a nice seat. It is not a seat a toddler could sleep in or have a snack in or anything and it looks to me like it would leave the child underneath looking at hanging legs!
I do think (if you wont need E to sleep in the stroller) that the Sit and Stands look good. I know those are popular as well and people seem to like them.
i looked at that one yesterday at Sears. I liked it. Actually going to get one really soon. E really loves being in the stroller and when i tried having him walk and her in the stroller he got really mad!
ReplyDeleteI saw the valco one in person and didn't like it either. The toddler seat is good for short breaks from walking but not good for times when he would need to sleep as it doesn't recline- same with the Phil and Ted's...so at least i learned what i need/dpn't need at the Babytime show!
Because E sleeps in his stroller still the sit and stand wouldn't work out for us- but i had looked at it too!
Yeah if he sleeps in the stroller still, I would definately go with the Graco. I think they look nice and comfortable, and have heard that if you have a problem they have excellent customer service as well. I don't know much about their strollers quailty, but they have excellent car-seats so I think Graco is a good reputable brand.
ReplyDeleteDid you see anything cool at the show?? I wish I could have gone with you!
